- a booking is made via Airbnb, Booking.com, or directly via Cloudbeds,
- check-in is carried out on site,
- a request is made via our contact form or by email.
The following data may be collected:
Name, date of birth, email address, phone number, country of origin, passport number, visa number
For direct bookings: payment information (via the payment system tab)
3. Purposes of processing
We process personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
- To process bookings made via our website, Airbnb, Booking.com, or Cloudbeds.
- To comply with legal obligations in Nicaragua (guest book and reporting to authorities).
- To communicate with guests before, during, and after their stay (via email or WhatsApp).
- To use voluntarily given consent for marketing and newsletters.
4. Origin and disclosure of data
Data is transmitted to us directly by guests (e.g., via contact form or check-in) or via platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and Cloudbeds.
- We store and manage this data in Cloudbeds.
- We use the Tab system for payments.
We are required to pass on certain data to the relevant Nicaraguan authorities, such as name, passport number, visa number, and country of origin.
5. Legal basis for processing
Contract fulfillment: to carry out and manage bookings.
Legal obligation: to keep the guest book and report to authorities.
Consent: for sending marketing emails/newsletters.
Legitimate interest: for direct guest communication and optimization of our processes.
6. Storage period
Data in the guest book: (passport number, visa number, country of origin, date of birth, telephone number): deleted after the stay.
Booking and contract data: stored for as long as required by law.
Newsletter/marketing data: until the guest revokes their consent.
7. Guest rights
Guests have the following rights at any time:
- Information about their stored data,
- Correction of incorrect data,
- Deletion after the end of the stay or upon revocation of consent,
- Restriction of processing or objection to use,
- Data portability (in a common format upon request).

Our website runs on WordPress with Elementor and is hosted on Cloudbeds servers (Amsterdam).
Technically necessary cookies may be set for booking integration (Cloudbeds).
